Margie Johnson was born at home on Monroe Street in Gretna (McDonoughville), Jefferson Par., Louisiana. She was 5'1" weighing 125-140 lbs. She had brown hair [until she was 27-30 yrs old] which then turned white. She dyed it grey and then blond. Margie had dark brown eyes and was olive skinned with dark eyebrows. Her measurements were 38-30-40 with dress size 8-10. She wore shoe size 7-7 1/2 and her color preference was old rose/pink. Margie wore glasses to read.

Margie was a supervisor at Western Union Telegraph Co. at the age of 17 [in 1945]. She was the replacement for someone being sent to war, a man named Bob Thieneman whom she married five years later. It was always believed that Bob recommended Margie Johnson be promoted to the position of supervisor, a very unusual occurrence for someone only 17 years old. She later worked for St. Charles General Hospital [New Orleans] in the Medical Records Department as the statistician. She died of pneumonia at the age of 74 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.
